Yi-jung aún vive con su madre. Después de criar sola a su hija, Su-kyung está lista para comenzar una nueva vida con su prometido y dejar el pasado atrás. Tantos años de desprecio le han dejado una mezcla de sentimientos reprimidos hacia su madre, de la que no puede liberarse. Cuando una discusión entre los dos se intensifica en el estacionamiento de un supermercado, Su-kyung atropella a su hija.

Yi-jung still lives with her mother. Having raised her daughter alone, Su-kyung is ready to start a new life with her fiancé and leave the past behind. The many years of disregard have left her with a mixture of suppressed feelings towards her mother, from whom she cannot break free. When an argument between the two escalates in a supermarket parking lot, Su-kyung hits her daughter with her car.
