Las filmaciones domésticas suelen contener escenas de felicidad íntima, pero también pueden ser testigo del horror más puro. Es lo que sucede en 1974, cuando un conjunto de grabaciones en 8mm revelan el trágico destino de una pareja de recién casados que desapareció en México a mediados de los setenta. Un found footage de textura granulosa y desasosegante banda sonora.

Home movies usually contain scenes of intimate happiness, but they can also be witness to the purest horror. And that’s precisely the case with 1974, where 8mm tapes reveal the tragic fate of a newlywed couple that disappears in Mexico in the mid-seventies—a found footage film with a grainy texture and an unsettling soundtrack.
