That Breath

A sus 88 años, mi abuelo Fernando me propone hacer una película juntos. Su propuesta llega cuando le digo que me voy a mudar de su casa. Así empezamos a filmar, yo con mi cámara y él con la suya. Si bien hemos convivido por más de 20 años, es a través de la cámara que nos vemos como nunca antes lo habíamos hecho. “Ese soplo” es un registro íntimo sobre nuestro vínculo, el amor y las pérdidas.

At eighty-eight, my grandfather Fernando suggests we make a film together. His idea comes when I tell him I am leaving his house. That is how we start filming; he carries his camera, and I carry mine. Although we have lived together for more than 20 years, it is through the camera that we see each other in a way we have never done before. “That Breath” is an intimate recording of our bond, love, and loss.
