En la frontera entre Arizona y México, Jessica Comley es una orgullosa oficial de la Patrulla Fronteriza que opera en el desierto. Su fervor la pone bajo la vigilancia de su jerarquía. Sin embargo, logra mantenerse a raya hasta el día en que pierde el control y mata a un inmigrante inofensivo frente a tres testigos: su colega y un nativo americano con su nieto.

On the border between Arizona and Mexico, Jessica Comley is a proud Border Patrol officer operating in a desert area. Her zealous attitude puts her under the surveillance of her hierarchy. Still, she manages not to cross the line until the day when she loses control and kills a harmless migrant in front of three witnesses: her colleague and a Native American with his grandson.
